Intriguing clash here on Saturday night as reigning premiers the Mariners come up against Sydney FC at Allianz Stadium.

Sydney have won the last three meetings between the teams, but the Mariners have been on a roll since November and come into this encounter on a four-game winning streak in the A-League.

Sydney are unbeaten in eight of their last nine games, but that defeat did come in their last outing before the break, going down 2-1 on the road against league leaders Wellington. The Sky Blues were also held to a 1-1 draw at home to Brisbane in their previous fixture.
