Our Champions League predictions for every game are below, with bet365 prices (UK market) checked on the evening of Wednesday 4 November, plus the results from the first nine games.

⚽ Best bet: Liverpool to win at Fenerbahçe ($1.50). Value: Como to win at Lens ($2.20). Matchday 4 multi: Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City to win, about $2.87 with bet365.

Prices are bet365 decimal odds from the UK market, the only feed we could check for these games, so Australian bookmakers will differ a little. Prices move up to kick-off, so check yours before you bet. For the outright market, see our Champions League winner odds.

4:45am Fenerbahçe v Liverpool $5.50 $4.60 $1.50 Liverpool to win ($1.50)
7:00am RB Leipzig v Manchester City $5 $4.60 $1.53 Manchester City to win ($1.53)
7:00am Slavia Prague v Arsenal $10 $6.50 $1.25 Both teams to score: No ($1.80)
7:00am Borussia Dortmund v Real Betis $1.67 $4.33 $4.33 Both teams to score ($1.53)
7:00am Lens v Como $3 $3.75 $2.20 Como to win ($2.20)
7:00am PSV v Club Brugge $2.05 $4.33 $3 Both teams to score ($1.33)
7:00am Porto v Napoli $1.91 $3.60 $3.80 Both teams to score ($1.62)
7:00am Viking v Sabah $1.40 $5 $7 Over 2.5 goals ($1.33)

Champions League predictions: game by game

AEK Athens v Real Madrid (4:45am)

Real Madrid have won all three games and scored ten goals; AEK have one win and have let in eight. At $1.25 Real are too short to back on their own, but they are the safest leg on the card for a multi. The market expects goals too, with over 2.5 at $1.29.

Our tip: Real Madrid to win at $1.25, best used in a multi.

Fenerbahçe v Liverpool (4:45am)

Liverpool are one of the four sides with a perfect record and have scored 12 goals in three games, though they have also let in seven. Fenerbahçe are still looking for a first win, with two draws, three goals scored and nine conceded. Istanbul is a hard place to go, and that is why Liverpool are $1.50 and not shorter, but the gap in form is too big to ignore. If you want a bigger price, both teams to score is $1.57.

Our tip: Liverpool to win at $1.50. Our best bet of the night.

RB Leipzig v Manchester City (7:00am)

City have won two of three, scoring nine and conceding five, and sit 12th. Leipzig have one win from three and have conceded eight. City at $1.53 is fair; both teams to score is a short $1.44 and does not add much.

Our tip: Manchester City to win at $1.53.

Slavia Prague v Arsenal (7:00am)

Arsenal are unbeaten and have conceded only two goals in three games. Slavia have one point and four goals. Arsenal at $1.25 is no value, so we take the clean-sheet angle: both teams to score “No” at $1.80.

Our tip: Both teams to score: No, at $1.80.

Borussia Dortmund v Real Betis (7:00am)

Betis are one of the perfect starters, yet bet365 has them at $4.33, the same price as the draw, with Dortmund $1.67 at home. Neither defence has been airtight: Betis have let in four, Dortmund four. Rather than pick a side, we back goals at both ends.

Our tip: Both teams to score at $1.53.

Lens v Como (7:00am)

Como have been one of the stories of the league phase, with two wins and ten goals in three games, including a 4-1 win over Manchester United. Lens have won once and scored three. The market makes Como the favourite away from home at $2.20, and we agree.

Our tip: Como to win at $2.20. Our value pick.

PSV v Club Brugge (7:00am)

A clash of styles: PSV’s three games have produced four goals in total, while Brugge have scored nine and conceded six, including a 4-3 win at Inter. Both teams to score is only $1.33, so this works as a multi leg rather than a single.

Our tip: Both teams to score at $1.33, as a multi leg.

Porto v Napoli (7:00am)

Porto have lost all three games and scored twice. Napoli have one win, five goals for and seven against. bet365 still makes Porto the $1.91 favourite at home, which is a lot of faith in a side without a point. Both teams to score at $1.62 avoids picking a winner.

Our tip: Both teams to score at $1.62.

Viking v Sabah (7:00am)

Viking’s three games have produced 14 goals, including a 3-3 draw with Bayern Munich, and Sabah have let in six. Viking are $1.40 favourites despite not having won yet. Goals look more likely than a Viking win.

Our tip: Over 2.5 goals at $1.33.

Our Champions League Matchday 4 multi

Real Madrid ($1.25), Liverpool ($1.50) and Manchester City ($1.53) to win pays about $2.87 for a $1 stake with bet365. For more multi ideas across the EPL, A-League and Europe, see our football multi tips.
