Road to the Final
Jannik Sinner (No.1 seed)
A first-round scare aside, the defending champion has been imperious — he has not dropped a set since round one, and dismantled seven-time champion Novak Djokovic in the semis (16 aces, 88% of points won behind his first serve).
| Round | Result |
|---|---|

| R2 | def. Nuno Borges |
| R3 | def. Jenson Brooksby |

Alexander Zverev
The world No.2 and reigning French Open champion has carried his clay-court breakthrough onto grass, ending the fairytale run of British wild card Arthur Fery in the semis without fuss.
| Round | Result |
|---|---|
| R1 | def. Alexander Blockx |
| R2 | def. Valentin Royer |
| R3 | def. Marcos Giron |
| R4 | def. Jiri Lehecka |

Head-to-Head
Sinner owns this rivalry. He leads the career head-to-head 10–4 and has won their last nine meetings — a run of 14 consecutive sets, including four wins in 2026 alone. The one caveat: they have never met on grass, the surface that most rewards Zverev’s serve. Zverev must snap that nine-match skid to lift his first Wimbledon title.
The Match-Up
Sinner is the benchmark. The world No.1 is defending the title he won here last year, has dropped just one set all fortnight, and produced the performance of the tournament to beat Djokovic in the semis. His flat, early-struck groundstrokes and much-improved serve travel beautifully onto grass, and he simply does not give cheap points away.
Zverev, for his part, has never been more dangerous. Freed by his maiden major at Roland Garros, he is bidding to become the first man in the Open Era to back up a first Grand Slam title with a second at the very next major. His serve is the one weapon that can trouble Sinner on a fast court — if he holds comfortably and forces a tie-break or two, the grass is the great equaliser. But he has to find a level he has not reached against Sinner in nearly two years.
Odds & Best Bet
| Player | Match Odds (indic.) | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Jannik Sinner | ~$1.22 | Defending champion; 10–4 H2H, won the last 9 |
| Alexander Zverev | ~$4.20 | RG champion; huge serve, but 0-9 recently v Sinner |
Best bet: Jannik Sinner to win the title (~$1.22). Short, but the soundest anchor in the market — he is the better player, in the better form, defending his crown, and owns the head-to-head. At that price the value is in the winning-margin markets: Sinner to win 3–0 (straight sets) is the standout, given he has dropped one set all tournament and taken 14 straight against Zverev. If you fancy the underdog, Zverev +1.5 sets banks on his serve nicking a set on grass. Prices indicative; check the current market in-app before betting.
