Main event: Natália Silva vs Wang Cong

Natália Silva (20-5-1) is the No.1 contender at flyweight. The 29-year-old Brazilian was booked to fight Shevchenko for the title, first as a co-main event and then as the headliner, before the champion withdrew and the belt was vacated.

Wang Cong (10-1) is ranked eighth. The 34-year-old from China has lost once in 11 professional fights and now gets a title fight against the division’s top contender.

Our read. Silva is the natural favourite on ranking and experience, with 26 professional fights to Wang’s 11, and she was already booked for a title fight before the change of opponent. Wang’s case is her record: one loss in 11 fights. This is her first UFC title fight and the biggest step up in opposition of her career, which makes her the harder of the two to price. Because this is a five-round title fight between two sides with few losses, the method and rounds markets are worth more attention than the head-to-head once the price settles.

The rest of the main card

The co-main event is Deiveson Figueiredo, the former UFC flyweight champion now ranked ninth at bantamweight, against Payton Talbott, ranked 11th. It is the classic old-guard-against-riser fight, and the result will shape the bantamweight rankings either way. Roberto Soldić vs Khaos Williams, Ateba Gautier vs Roman Kopylov and King Green vs Esteban Ribovics complete a five-fight main card.

Two early-prelim names stand out: former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos against Alexander Hernandez, and Marvin Vettori against Ismail Naurdiev, a fight first booked for June before Vettori broke a rib.
