North Melbourne vs Port Adelaide Preview and Prediction
The Kangaroos are set for another disappointing season after a number of off-season changes.
North Melbourne made 11 delisting’s after a horrid season; David Noble was also introduced as the new head coach after arriving from Brisbane as the General Manager of Football.
The Kangaroos are a side that still have a lot of young starlets in their team, and with the solid foundations for a rebuild, it’s a chance for new players to prove a point.
Robbie Tarrant will be a big miss in defence if he can’t stay fit, with Charlie Dixon looking to have a big year after a strong pre-season.
Meanwhile, Port Adelaide will have high hopes heading into this season after reaching the preliminary final last season and winning the minor premiership.
Similarly, the Power were busy in the off-season. Orazio Fantasia was recruited from Essendon and Aliir Aliir from the Swans.
Both of whom impressed in their sides 71-point pre-season victory against the Crows, Fantasia booted three goals and Aliir finished best-on-ground with 14 marks.
This could be the game that sees Port Adelaide prove a point to the rest of the competition with a large victory.
