Latest betting odds and markets for the 2021 AFL Premiership. Who will win the flag and become premiers?
AFL 2021 Odds – DESPITE a slow first half, Richmond has secured back-to-back premierships and won their third flag in four seasons after defeating Geelong by 31 points in the 2020 AFL grand final at the Gabba.
The Tigers eased as favourites once the grand finalists were confirmed from $1.80 to $1.87 when the opening bounce occurred and got out to $5.50 when they trailed by 22 points in the second quarter.
Before the Tigers secured their grand final berth, the biggest bets were $10,000 at $4.25 on September 2 and $10,000 at $3.25 on September 21.
Late this afternoon, one TAB punter plonked $40,500 at $1.87 on Richmond to win the grand final, which has resulted in a $75,735 collect.
Another TAB customer won $50,000 from a $250 bet at odds of $201 on Geelong to lead by at least 13 points at half-time (led by 15 points) and Richmond to win by 25 points or more (won by 31 points).
Dustin Martin was heavily supported to win the Norm Smith Medal for the third time as a $5 favourite with three bets of $2000 at that price.
Dion Prestia was a $41 chance to kick the first goal in the 2020 AFL grand final with one TAB customer pocketing $4100 from a $100 wager.
TAB has already opened betting on the 2021 AFL premiership and Richmond are $4 favourites to win three successive flags.
