Round 10 delivered what might be the upset of the season as Brisbane were beaten by Melbourne by ten points at the Gabba on Sunday. In a contest tipped to be one-sided, the Demons refused to back down, never leading at the breaks but closing the gap steadily before taking control in the final quarter to steal the headlines. Jake Melksham shone for Melbourne, booting four goals on a memorable afternoon for the Demons.
Eagles End 281-Day Win Drought
West Coast 16.12 (108) def. St Kilda 12.8 (80)
West Coast closed out Round 10 by finally ending their 281-day wait for a victory, overcoming St Kilda by 28 points at Optus Stadium on Sunday.
