Collingwood vs Adelaide Preview

After a rocky start to their premiership defence, Collingwood has found their mojo and now sit inside the AFL top eight with a record of five wins, three losses and a draw and are unbeaten in their last five games.

They beat their biggest rivals Carlton by a small margin two weeks ago and showed no mercy with a 66 point win over West Coast in round nine.

Adelaide have a mirrored record to the Pies with three wins, five losses and a draw heading to the MCG on Saturday afternoon in an important road in their season.

They won three of four before hosting the Lions at Adelaide Oval last weekend and although they didn’t win they’d be content taking something away from the game after a draw.

Collingwood’s midfield have been one of the main reasons for their resurgence and the Pies now rank 2nd in center clearances and 6th in contested possessions.
