St Kilda vs Adelaide Preview

The Saints were made to rue for missed chances against the Swans in their nine-point defeat.

Jack Higgins missed three golden opportunities in the dying moments of the game to finish with one goal and six behinds, summing up the match perfectly.

The loss leaves them two games behind the 8th placed Tigers, with one of the worst percentages in the competition. They will not only need the four points but a healthy percentage booster sooner rather than later.

Although it will be tough, considering they will be missing four big members of their squad for Saturday night. Jarryn Geary, Mason Wood, Seb Ross and Tim Membrey will all be unavailable.

Meanwhile, the Crows suffered a disappointing five-point defeat at the hands of Collingwood last time out.

After a promising two weeks against the Demons and Tigers, an easy four points against the Magpies looked likely. However, similarly to the Saints, inaccuracy proved costly, having five more scoring shots than the Magpies.

It looks likely that the match will be won in the midfield, with scores from stoppages being common. Rory Laird, Paul Seedsman and Ben Keays have been in superb form. Whilst their counterparts Brad Crouch and Jack Steele have also been in good form.

St Kilda will have a lot of personal issues on Saturday night, and considering that I believe the Crows could reign supreme.

Saints vs Crows Team News

The Saints will be forced to make four changes with Jarryn Geary, Mason Wood, Seb Ross and Tim Membrey all unavailable. Jack Lonie and Ben Long are likely inclusions.

The Crows will have Sam Berry available if he passes his concussion protocol. Ronin O’Connor will likely make way.

The two sides last met in Round 7 last season which saw the Saints win by 23 points.
