Sydney vs Brisbane Preview
Sydney was once again on the winner’s list for the third successive match to start the season 5-1. They have passed North Melbourne (11 points), West Coast (63 points) and Hawthorn (41 points).
Despite being six goals down at quarter time and without score, they fought their way back into their first-ever ANZAC Day match. They booted the last eight goals of the match to win by a handsome margin.
Similarly, the Lions cruised their way to a 52-point triumph in the Q-Clash against the Suns in their last outing. Chris Fagan’s side is currently the highest-scoring team in the competition, averaging 105 points a match.
There were plenty of great individual performances against Gold Coast, but none were better than Zac Bailey’s career-high six-goal haul. His tally currently sits at 16 goals for the season in his breakout season.
This is primed to be the game of the round and I don’t believe it will disappoint. I believe it could be a high-scoring tight contest that will see the Lions prevail on the road.
