Port Adelaide vs Brisbane Lions Preview

This shapes as a big game for both sides in their quest to play in September. Port Adelaide are the better positioned of the two and sit in 7th position with eight wins but a loss may see them drop out of the eight at the completion of the round.

Brisbane are in 13th position and can ill-afford another loss. The Lions have won their past two matches with those coming against the Western Bulldogs and St Kilda.

Darcy Wilmot, Hugh McCluggage and Dayne Zorko all picked up 25+ disposals in the Saints win, while Joe Daniher starred with five goals.

The Lions have plenty of firepower up forward and at the other end, Port Adelaide will need to find an answer in front of goals after registering just six majors in their 22-point loss over GWS last weekend.
