Brisbane vs St Kilda Preview

The Round 24 contest pits 2nd against 6th and there is plenty to play for. Brisbane need a win to secure a home Qualifying Final, while St Kilda will be out to do their best to lock in a home Elimination Final with a victory.

Should the Saints lose, they may have to venture to Sydney for the first week of the finals, depending on the results of other matches.

Both sides come off solid wins in Round 23. Brisbane produced one of their better performances of the season by defeating the ladder leaders, Collingwood, by 24 points. The Lions smashed the Magpies in the middle of the ground. Lachie Neale and Josh Dunkley both had 25+ disposals as Charlie Cameron, Eric Hipwood and Joe Daniher cashed in up forward by combining for 10 goals.

St Kilda handed Geelong a 33-point defeat in Round 23 and were also dynamic in the middle of the ground with Brad Crouch, Jack Steele and Brad Hill all having more than 25 disposals, while Jack Sinclair starred from half-back with 38 of his own.
