Hawthorn vs Fremantle Preview

Hawthorn head into the final round encounter as favourites on the back of some improved form in the latter parts of the season, while the Hawks also hold the home ground advantage.

Last weekend, the Hawks were competitive against 4th placed Melbourne but couldn’t quite go with the Demons when the heat was on, going down by 27 points. They were well served by James Worpel, Karl Amon and Conor Nash, who all picked up 25+ disposals.

Prior to their loss against Melbourne, Sam Mitchell’s side managed to defeat both the Western Bulldogs and Collingwood. They have seven wins for the season and sit in 16th position, while Fremantle after 14th with nine victories.
