North Melbourne vs GWS Preview

The Kangaroos will be looking to claim their second win in Tasmania and second win of the season on Sunday.

North Melbourne’s loss against the Saints before the bye, was their 18th defeat in their last 19 games, which is threatening to be their worst win-loss record since 1972.

David Noble’s side will have to keep the Giants to a low score, considering there’s no obvious goal-scoring threat in the Roos side. They have been the worst offensive and defensive side this season in the competition.

Meanwhile, the Giants will be aiming to remain in finals contention by claiming a vital four points.

GWS will be looking to return to the winner’s circle after their heavy loss to the Lions last time out. A win will see them move into ninth spot and one match, behind either Richmond or West Coast, depending on the winner of that match later in the day.

It’s good news on the injury front for the Giants, with three stars set to return on Sunday from injury. Toby Greene, Phil Davis and Matt de Boer will all feature in the side.

This is a match that the Giants should be winning despite the Kangaroos having a good record in Tasmania.
