Melbourne vs GWS Preview

Melbourne made it 11 wins on the trot when they cruised past a depleted Port Adelaide outfit in Thursday night footy last week. They enter the match against the Giants with an extra two-day rest and less travel.

The reigning premiers managed to keep the Power to just a mere five points in the first half, and four goals for the match, in an impressive defensive display on the road. They barely had to lift a finger as they maintained their undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, the Giants fell to their third defeat of the season last time out in a five-goal loss against the Dockers at Optus Stadium. This has resulted in their worst start to the season since 2013.

GWS may find it hard to struggle in the key position areas of the ground, with multiple injuries and suspensions plaguing the side. One of whom, was Braydon Preuss, who got suspended for his off the ball hit.

Melbourne has continued from where they left off last season, and I don’t see them falling to a shock loss against the Giants. So, you can expect a comfortable win on Saturday night.
