Fremantle vs North Melbourne Preview

Fremantle caused a historic upset against Geelong in GMHBA by three points to stake their claim as the real deal in the 2022 season. They also have a strong record against the Roos, winning five of the previous six meetings.

Justin Longmuir’s outfit managed to down the Cats without talisman tall forward Matt Taberner and star ruckman Sean Darcy. Proving they are making the inroads necessary to turn into a consistent finals team.

Meanwhile, the Kangaroos suffered their fifth consecutive defeat, moving their record to 1-6. They have fallen to Brisbane (108 points), Sydney (11 points), Western Bulldogs (68 points), Geelong (60 points) and Carlton (50 points) in that run.

However, it has been the manor of their most recent losses and the fact that they have fallen off throughout the second half of matches. In fact, their last three losses have been by at least 50 points.

It’s hard to see this result going any other way than a comfortable Fremantle win to pile on the misery for the battered and bruised Kangaroos at Optus Stadium on Friday night.
