Sydney vs North Melbourne Preview

Sydney suffered their first defeat of the 2022 campaign in a heartbreaking loss to the Western Bulldogs by 11 points, which saw them fail to complete their five-goal comeback.

Unlike the Bulldogs, they were able to make the most of their chances when they eventually came to them in the second half. This was due to their worst first-half performance in two years, managing a mere nine points despite being the highest-scoring team over the first two rounds.

Meanwhile, the Kangaroos were the first team this season to fall to a 100+ point defeat at the hands of the Brisbane Lions last time out. It will be tough back-to-back matches on the road against premiership contenders.

It was obvious that they missed some star quality in the attacking build-up and defensive running throughout the match, which resulted in consistent repeat entries for the Lions.

It’s hard to see this match going in any other direction than a commanding and comfortable win for the Swans to pile on the misery in back-to-back weeks for the struggling Kangaroos.
