West Coast vs North Melbourne Preview

The Eagles were deplorable in a game with a lot on the line, losing to the Swans by 92 points.

West Coast was demolished in every facet of the game against Sydney, with their work off the ball the most disappointing, being labelled as ‘lazy’ by greats of the game.

With their finals position in serious jeopardy, this has to be a must-win percentage booster to put them in a strong position to make finals football. The Eagles currently have the 10th worst percentage out of the teams in the top 12.

Meanwhile, the Kangaroos tried their best against the top of the ladder Bulldogs last time out.

North Melbourne have shown great signs of improvement over the past month and it will be a great time to test their luck against a struggling top eight side on enemy turf.

If they are to stand any chance of getting a positive result on Monday, they will need to get on top in the middle of the ground. Ben Cunnington and Jy Simpkin have been influential to the Kangaroos win’s this season.

Although West Coast has had its troubles recently, I believe they will bounce back at home on Monday night.

Eagles vs Roos Team News

Alex Witherden, Jack Redden and Jamaine Jones are all injured for this match. Andrew Gaff and Liam Ryan will be the biggest inclusions.

Charlie Lazzaro, Jared Polec, Patrick Walker and Tom Campbell have all been named in the extended squad.

*Teams are yet to be reduced to 22, four omissions still need to be made from the eight-man bench.

The two sides last met in Round 4 last season, which saw the Dogs win by 28 points.
