Port Adelaide vs Sydney Preview

The Power will be looking to make it two wins on the trot after downing the Suns by 50 points last time out.

Port Adelaide cruised against a lacklustre Gold Coast outfit as they look to improve their percentage against the teams in the top four above them. Percentage will be vital in such a tight ladder, and they will be looking to improve upon that on Saturday.

Ollie Wines has been dominated the midfield on his own recently in the previous month and increased his claim for the Brownlow medal, being the best on the ground against the Suns, with 43 disposals.

Meanwhile, the Swans will be looking to return to the winner’s circle after losing to the Hawks before the bye.

Sydney was predicted to breeze past the struggling Hawks but failed to create anything meaningful from possession as the Hawks broke them down.

You can expect the contest to be a low-scoring and physical match. Both sides have brute force in every position, particularly in the midfield. Josh Kennedy and Luke Parker will battle it out against Wines and Travis Boak.

Port Adelaide is a tough team to break down on home turf, so I’ll have to back them in this one.

Power vs Swans Team News

Port Adelaide have included Dylan Williams and Todd Marshall. They have omitted Peter Ladhams, whilst Lachie Jones and Robbie Gray are injured.

Sydney have named two changes with Errol Gulden and Kaiden Brand named to return. Whilst Logan McDonald and Sam Wicks are out.

The two sides last met in Round 14 last season, which saw the Power win by 26 points.
