Port Adelaide vs West Coast Preview

Port Adelaide is still yet to win a game in 2022 after falling to a heart-breaking three-point defeat against the high-flying Blue Baggers at the MCG. It was the first time in their history that they have started a season 0-5.

Ken Hinkley’s outfit found themselves as much as 50-points down during the second quarter. The Power squandered multiple opportunities at the start of the second term and could consider themselves unlucky to not come away with the four points.

Similarly, the Eagles also suffered defeat in an embarrassing fashion against the Swans by 63 points. It resulted in their second-worst losing margin at home in nine years.

West Coast failed to register a single point up until the midway point of the second term, and if it wasn’t for five last quarter goals, the scoreline could’ve been uglier. The most distressing stat was that they only mustered 29 inside 50’s juxtaposed to the Swans 65.

Although Port Adelaide remains the only winless side in the competition, I believe they’ll secure their first triumph with a win over the Eagles at home on Saturday evening.

Power vs Eagles Stats
