St Kilda vs Geelong Preview

The Round 23 fixture will see Geelong enter in as favourites and the Cats will be looking to consolidate their position in the top four with just one home and away game to follow after Saturday.

Chris Scott’s side come off an important nine-point win over Fremantle in the west last weekend, which saw them conclude the round in 4th spot and just percentage behind the 2nd placed Port Adelaide.

They have now won 14 games this season, while St Kilda have won nine and sit in 14th position. However, the Saints won’t be pushovers and come off a solid 48-point win over Richmond at Marvel Stadium.

Todd Marshall starred in the ruck with 19 disposals and three goals, while Josh Battle and Jack Sinclair found plenty of the footy.

Geelong will look to get on top in the midfield and Patrick Dangerfield comes in with some excellent form, while the Cats have a solid spread of players around the ground, including Tom Stewart down back, as well as Jeremy Cameron in the forward line.
