Geelong Cats vs Sydney Swans Preview
The Sunday clash at the SCG sees two of the top four sides come up against one another as the Sydney Swans host Geelong.
The home side are six points clear on the top of the ladder with 10 wins and one loss for the season, while Geelong have won eight of 12.
The Cats snapped a four-game losing streak in Round 12 by defeating Richmond by 30 points, kicking clear late in the game. Mitch Duncan and Max Holmes were among the better players for the Cats in that game and will be looking to take their form on the road.
Sydney come off the bye in Round 12 and were 14-point winners over the Western Bulldogs prior to that. Their midfield brigade once again did the job in that match with Chad Warner, Errol Gulden and Isaac Heeney all major contributors and that trio will be hard to stop.
Unless Sydney come in rusty off the bye, they should be hard to beat. They have a number of options up forward, including Joel Amartey, Logan McDonald and Tom Papley, while their mids certainly know how to find the big sticks.
