Geelong will be out to stitch up a top four spot with a win over the West Coast Eagles. The Cats enter the Round 24 clash as red-hot favourites and are in 4th position on the ladder. A victory will most likely see them finish in 4th spot, securing the double chance.

West Coast have endured another year in the doldrums and are 16th with just five wins to their credit in 2024. The Eagles were disappointing against an undermanned Carlton side last weekend, going down to the Blues by 65 points.

West Coast won their two games prior to the Blues fadeout but face a tough task in what is regarded as one of football’s toughest road-trips down at Geelong. They have not won at GMHBA Stadium since 2006, losing nine clashes since by an average margin of 70 points.

The task at hand does seem to be a huge one, given that Geelong will be out to rebound after going down to St Kilda by 18 points last weekend.
