West Coast vs Sydney Preview and Prediction

The 2018 Premiers West Coast have had a horrific start to the season, and they will aim to get their season back on track against the Swans on Saturday afternoon, who like West Coast sit outside the eight.

West Coast has failed to score over 50 points in their last three matches, perhaps because of the lack of forward 50 entries, only averaging 37.8.

However, they face an easier opponent on Saturday, with Sydney who comes off a disappointing loss to the Bulldogs last week.

A promising sign for Eagles fans, however, is the return to form of Josh Kennedy, who kicked four goals in their loss to top of the table Port Adelaide.

In New South Wales, Sydney was dominated in the middle of the ground against the Bulldogs despite winning majority of the hit-outs. Sydney only managed to kick one goal in the first half of the match.

Tom Papley continued his strong start to the season kicking four of the five Sydney goals as well as contributing to eight of Sydney’s 14 score involvements.

Although West Coast has had a dismal start to the restart of the shortened season, I believe they will get the win their desperate for, putting their season back on track.
