West Coast vs Sydney Preview

Adam Simpson’s outfit secured their first win of the season despite multiple selection issues plaguing the beginning of their 2022 campaign. However, that triumph did come with a price.

Star ruckman Nic Naitanui suffered a serious knee injury, which will see him sidelined for 8-12 weeks in yet another big blow for the Eagles. Although they are to regain midfielders Luke Shuey and Tim Kelly for Friday night.

Similarly, the Swans were also on the winner’s list last weekend by 11 points, escaping what would have been a shock defeat against the depleted North Melbourne Kangaroos.

Sydney found themselves 14-points down halfway through the last term, but Isaac Heeney led his side to kick the last three goals of the match to return to winning ways after their loss to the Bulldogs.

Although the Eagles hold the home ground advantage and will be bolstered by the return of some key players, I still believe the Swans will have what it takes to make it back-to-back wins for the second time this season.
