Western Bulldogs vs North Melbourne Preview

The Bulldogs tore the Eagles apart, away from home by 55 points last time out.

The Western Bulldogs was on top in all facets of the match against West Coast but will be annoyed that they didn’t win by a bigger margin, kicking 20 behinds with their 20 extra scoring shots.

Luke Beveridge’s forwards are looking more settled as every week passes by, which is good for their premiership hopes. Aaron Naughton kicked four last week, whilst Josh Bruce kicked 10 in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

Meanwhile, the Kangaroos got their second win of the season against Gold Coast in Tasmania.

North Melbourne have gained all of their premiership points so far this season down in Tasmania, and similarly to the Dogs found themselves unlucky to not win by a bigger margin against the Suns last week.

A 128-point loss to the Bulldogs earlier in the season can either haunt or motivate David Noble’s side. One thing is for certain, the Roos midfield will have to rise to the occasion.

I can’t see the last meeting changing on Sunday, and I believe a big win for the Dogs is on the cards.

Bulldogs vs Kangaroos Team News

Ryan Gardner is injured for the Dogs. They have named Jordon Sweet, Josh Schache, Lewis Young and Patrick Lipinski.

The Kangaroos have omitted Lachie Young. Whilst Jared Polec is a big-name inclusion.

*Teams are yet to be reduced to 22, four omissions still need to be made from the eight-man bench.

The two sides last met in Round 3 this season, which saw the Dogs win by 128 points.
