West Coast vs Western Bulldogs Preview

West Coast scored their second-largest score so far this season (86) but still fell to another huge defeat against the Giants. In fact, their last seven losses have been by a margin of at least 40 points.

It was a similar outcome when these sides met last season, with Luke Beveridge’s outfit claiming a 55-point victory. It’s hard to see the result going any other way on Saturday night.

Elsewhere, the Western Bulldogs won back-to-back matches for the first time this season after securing wins against Collingwood (48 points) and most recently, Gold Coast (19 points).

Their midfield was instrumental in both wins, with Marcus Bontempelli booting four goals, whilst Bailey Smith and Jack Macrae both racked up 34 disposals. Perhaps this stretch of three matches will jumpstart their underwhelming campaign thus far.

I believe by the conclusion of the round; you will see the Western Bulldogs enter the top eight for the first time this season, with a big percentage boosting win.
