The Dolphins couldn’t get it done over the Newcastle Knights last week but there could be a fair bit of merit in backing the Phins up in Townsville on Saturday night.

The Cowboys are 1-4 in their last five games and the Phins, when they’re playing at their best, have been one of the hardest teams to catch in the comp this season.

Trai Fuller, the young fullback who has replaced the injured Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has stood up to the task every time he’s had his number called this season.

He’s got one try in three games this year and is a decent bet to get his second against the Cows.

At the time of writing, the Dolphins are $3.30 underdogs which looks like an absurd price for the team that was on top of the ladder not so long ago.
