After a memorable Semi Final weekend that saw the Hawks and the Giants bow out in close games, we are down to four sides left for Preliminary Final weekend. The Sydney Swans take on Port Adelaide at the SCG on Friday night before Geelong and Brisbane clash at the MCG on Saturday. Sydney Swans vs Port Adelaide Preliminary Final Tips

Sydney have had the week off after overcoming the GWS Giants in the Qualifying Final and head in as favourite for the Preliminary Final against Port Adelaide. The Power bounced back from an 84-point loss at the hands of Geelong in Week 1 of the Finals Series to get up over the line against Hawthorn in a thriller by three points. They have a good record against the Swans, who hold the home ground advantage.

The perennial finalists, Geelong, are deep in September yet again and will be out to make another Grand Final after taking out the premiership in 2022. They head in as slight favourites and could not have been much more impressive after their demolition job on Port Adelaide a fortnight ago. Brisbane are no strangers to the September action in recent times and came agonisingly close last year when missing out in the Grand Final against Collingwood. They have won their two finals so far and have the talent to push the Cats.
